Redondela to Pontevedra

The walk from Redondela to Pontevedra is quite a tough walk, roughly 20.5km with 2 nasty hills.  Pontevedra appears to be a nice place that is worth having a mooch around.  With this in mind, and having given it a lot of thought, I have decided to give us 2 days to walk from Redondela to Pontevedra, but we'll spend both those nights in Pontevedra - this gives us a bit of flexibility.  

We have 2 options:

OPTION 1:  walk all the way to Pontevedra on Day 1and then have a rest day on Day 2, giving us time to recover and enjoy Pontevedra

OPTION 2: walk part of the way to Pontevedra on Day 1, stop when we are tired and catch a taxi into Pontevedra; on Day 2 catch a taxi back to the point we walked to on Day 1 and complete the walk into Pontevedra.

We will spend both nights at Hotel Rias Bajas in Pontevedra.
